I grew up with parents who let us have lots of pets! We were very blessed that way. I’ve had all kinds of pets-dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, a variety of birds, ducks, a horse, ferrets, and even rats.
I left a corporate day job to pursue my life’s occu-passion- to take care of living creatures both large and small. My love of animals inspired me to create Doggie Diva Pet Care, LLC, so that I could share my experience and love of animals with your pets. Taking care of animals is fun and fulfilling for me! It is not work. I am happiest when I am around animals and in nature. My ultimate vision and goal is to own and operate an animal rescue and retreat center.
I consider myself an advocate for the humane treatment of all animals. I have rescued four dogs of my own who have become my furry family members. I write articles and speak to increase public awareness on treating domestic animals as well as livestock in more humane ways.

I grew up with parents who did not let us have pets, so I went out and found folks who let me care for theirs. My first client was named Bootsie, and I was 8 years old.
My first pet was a tom cat named Woody, I was 21 years old. Since then I have been rescuing dogs, cats and horses. I have had 6 dogs;2 cats and 2 horses at one time and I also boarded a mustang and a arabian stallion in addition to my own. Now,I have 3 dogs, 3 cats and 2 horses and 1 horse who I do not own but am fostering ,due to the economy. I am helping out until things improve. I know I would never give up any of my pets.
I left a government day job to pursue my life’s passion. I take care of
living creatures both large and small. My love of animals inspired me to work with Doggie Diva Pet Care, LLC, so that I could share my experience and love of animals with your pets. Taking care of animals is my life! It is not work. I am most happiest when I am with animals, due to their unconditional love.
I consider myself a human who has been fortunate to know that I love animals as much as they love me. I have many stories of animals who have come to me from all over the world, and they have made my life rich of love and I have learned that I have not finished my job-caring for animals who need me and whom I need.
